Photos: The Nest

Seattleites rejoice! The Nest is finally open, dosage offering locals and guests to Seattle the opportunity to enjoy the city’s unique waterfront cityscape views from high atop the Emerald City’s newest boutique hotel, Thompson Seattle. Appropriately dubbed The Nest, the modern space encompasses 3500 square feet and features an indoor bar and lounge space in addition to ample outdoor patio seating for small and large groups. Expansive views of the city of Seattle including the iconic waterfront and Pike Place Market area can be seen, making the ideal place for enjoying a cocktail with spectacular sunset views. Speaking of cocktails, each of the drinks on the menu is named after a bird including a flamingo drink that is served in a large copper flamingo.

The Nest was conceived by renowned local architecture firm Olson Kundig and features a culinary menu helmed by Josh Henderson of Huxley Wallace Collective. Other restaurants under the Huxley Wallace brand include Quality Athletics, Westward, and Scout PNW, the latter of which is located at the base of the Thompson Seattle.
