Still in mourning over the closure of Capitol Hill’s long-time Greek restaurant The Byzantion? This news may brighten your day a bit. The once vacated space has now reopened as Corvus and Co, a new restaurant and bar with a bold, intriguing interior and a menu that’s still rooted in the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean palate. Chef Mac Jarvis, formerly of Ernest Loves Agnes, has whipped up a stellar menu with delectables such as piri piri tuna, chermoula eggplant, and a traditional Turkish breakfast. And don’t forget shawarmas stuffed with flavorful meats including paprika-spiced lamb, saffron and fennel chicken, chickpea dumplings, and grilled lamb leg. Interior-wise, the space utilizes charred golden wood tones with splashes of red and the inclusion of mystical paintings of animals including a signature owl taking center stage on the long brick wall.

Paul Berryman and Izzy Guymon are the owners behind Corvus and Co, and the officially opened the space to the public on May 24th.

Corvus and Co is located at 601 Broadway E and is open daily from 4pm-2am.
