On the night of Saturday, August 8th, Taylor Swift took Seattle by storm as she brought her 1989 World Tour to Century Link Field. The sold out crowd ate up Swift’s explosive, vibrant performance that, as promised by Swift herself, included several surprises. Rapper Fetty Wap made an appearance, performing his hit “Trap Queen,” leading the entire crowd in a chorus of happy birthday for opener Shawn Mendes, and welcoming Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and his girlfriend Ciara caused the stadium to roar at unprecedented volumes. Check out select images from the show below, along with post event coverage from national outlets.
