If Tuesday night could ever make you want to yell, “TGIF, ” that night was last night. Rocking the Paramount Theater in Seattle were a trifecta of three stellar pop bands: Icona Pop, Matt and Kim, and Passion Pit. The night kicked off with Swedish pop duo Icona Pop, perhaps best known right now for their smash single “I Love It,” which is making waves on the radio and as the theme song for the Jersey Shore spinoff “Snookie and JWOWW” (don’t ask me why I know that). Next up was another pop rock dynamic duo, Matt and Kim, arguably one of the best bands ever to shoot. Who knows the secret to their infectious energy, but whatever it is, it makes it impossible not to leave the show without a giant grin on your face. Headlining the evening was another Seattle band favorite, Passion Pit. Check out photos from the show below, along with a snippet that got picked up in Rolling Stone.
