The 25-year-old chocolate retailer known for using honest ingredients to create their popular premium chocolates has just opened the doors of their factory to the public. Dubbed the Experience Chocolate Tour, this 30-minute guided tour invites visitors to immerse into the chocolate-making process. And yes, there are ample opportunities to sample many types of chocolates throughout the tour!
Tour highlights include:
- sitting down in the Chocolate Classroom for a quick lesson on the history of chocolate
- a walk down a long magenta mezzanine that offers a bird’s eye view of the bustling factory floor
- exploring different types of chocolate and flavor combinations in the Tasting Room
- a small retail shop where select Seattle Chocolates can be purchased
Seattle Chocolates offers the Experience Chocolate Tour from 10am to 3pm Monday through Saturday. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased online. Note that children under the age of 6 are not permitted for safety reasons. Seattle Chocolates Factory is located at 1180 Andover Park W in Tukwila, Washington.
