One of Seattle’s best restaurants is located a ferry ride away from the Emerald City over on Bainbridge Island. Hitchcock Restaurant is the epitome of the region’s farm to fork eateries, as evidenced by Chef Brendan McGill’s emphasis on locally sourced cuisine, which rotates daily based on what’s available. All dishes at Hitchcock are masterful works of art, thoughtfully composed for visual and tasteful appeal. It’s no wonder McGill was a James Beard Award semifinalist. I had the honor of photographing McGill’s acclaimed tasting menu, as well as shooting menu items at his nearby juice bar, Verjus. Check out select photos below.
