When you think of Beecher’s, visions of their delicious mac and cheese probably comes to mind. But did you know that there is also the Beecher’s Foundation? It exists with the intention to build a better food future for all. The Seattle-based foundation puts on lots of programming including educational classes for youth and adults. These classes seek to teach not only cooking skills but also facts to help others make nutritionally sound and ethical choices when it comes to food. I recently worked with Beecher’s Foundation to capture photos for their website. The goal was to illustrate not only what an adult education class looks like, but also emphasize some of the dishes that students will learn to prepare. Below are some of the photos that we captured.
