On Sunday, August 20, the BIG3 Basketball Playoffs came to KeyArena in Seattle. Co-founder Ice Cube was in attendance, as well as many legendary NBA players. Some players were on the active teams vying for the championship title. Others such as Allen Iverson and Gary Payton served as team coaches. Other local Seattle celebrities in attendance included the Seahawks’ Richard Sherman and Bobby Wagner, and Sir Mix-a-Lot. The arena was filled with hundreds of local basketball fans, there were resounding signs of the crowd’s desire for the NBA’s rumored return to Seattle.
