Saturday night in Lacey, Washington, celebrity chef Michael Symon spent the evening cooking his delicious gourmet cuisine for several hundred guests at the Saint Martin’s University Gala. The annual black tie affair is held to benefit the university’s scholarship fund that allows hundreds of students to attend Saint Martin’s University every year. Previous celebrity chefs who have made an honorary appearance at prior galas include Chef Guy Fieri (2012) and Chef Mario Batali (2011).
Symon is a James Beard Award-winning chef who also won the coveted title of Iron Chef America in November 2007. Currently, Symon hosts The Chew on ABC and is the head chef and owner of a number of restaurants in Cleveland including his flagship Lola, Lolita, and The B Spot, in addition to Michael Symon’s Roast (aka Roast) in Detroit.
Check out a few photos from the night’s affair, with many more to come on the webpages of Saint Martin’s University.
