Encompassing 1, 583 square miles, the park contains over 700 miles of hiking trails and is crossed by driving the scenic and mountainous Going-to-the-Sun Road. As a child, I recall a family vacation to Glacier National Park with my parents, younger brother, and grandmother in which we spent several days exploring lodges and I rode a horse for the first time. Fast forward to adulthood and I returned to Glacier on a road trip with my boyfriend Martin in the first of many annual road trips.[/fusion_text][/fusion_builder_column][fusion_builder_column
