The 41st annual Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) opened on May 14 with a grand Opening Night Gala at McCaw Hall. Featuing a special screening of Spy, starring Melissa McCarthy, the evening also featured a special appearance by the film’s director, Paul Feig. Every year, SIFF brings out lots of notable guest talent to Seattle. Some of this year’s special guests in attendance included Tab Hunter, Pat Mills, Lynn Shelton and Megan Griffiths, Seattle Mayor Ed Murray, and SIFF representatives Carl Spence, Mary Bacarella, and Brian LaMacchia.
