I don’t get star struck very easily, but that definitely was not the case when I photographed Gary Sinise in Lakewood, Washington early on December 9. The Golden Globe and Emmy award-winning actor and director, perhaps best known for his role as Lieutenant Dan in Forrest Gump and his starring role on CSI: NY, made a visit to the Evergreen State yesterday as part of his Veteran’s advocacy. He attended the quarterly Washington Military Transition Council meeting at Clover Park Technical College as a part of his involvement with Get Skills to Work. The program aims to connect military veterans with resources and training for careers in the manufacturing industry. Check out select images of Gary Sinise during his visit below, with the full published set up on Getty Images.
