Blue rock duo Ethan and Joel, otherwise known as My Goodness, are blowing up in Seattle. Recently signed to Sarathan Records, these rockers stopped by KEXP Studios on Saturday in April to record an explosive in-studio session. Metal Chocolates, a new hip-hop collaboration between Seattle rappers Rik Rude and OC Notes, teamed up with Viper Creek Club in early April for a night of sick local hip-hop at Neumos. Colombian singer Juanes kicked off his U.S. P.A.R.C.E. tour in Seattle at WaMu Theater on Thursday night. The tour follows the recent release of his album P.A.R.C.E. and will take him throughout the U.S., ending in Orlando, Florida in October. Thursday night, Matt & Kim made their debut live performance in Hawaii at the Waterfront at Aloha Tower.
