On the night of September 24, Simon Doonan filled the Barneys New York store in downtown Seattle with fans eager to meet the Creative Ambassador at Large for Barneys. R&B crooner The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) celebrated the September 10th release of his latest album Kiss Land by kicking off his U.S. fall tour at Seattle's Paramount Theater. The sold out show was explosive and dramatic, making Abel Tesfaye's rich, flowing voice fill the walls of the Paramount as troves of fans screamed out his name. Opening for The Weeknd was DJ Anna Lunoe and vocalist Banks.

Over the weekend, the annual Capitol Hill Block Party went down in Seattle's hipster neighborhood. This year's lineup was an eclectic mix of artists, featuring EDM, hip-hop, and indie rock, among many others. Headliners this year included Girl Talk, local favorites Pickwick, and The Flaming Lips.
