Seattle chefs Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi are local legends. Their long-standing restaurant Revel is renowned for its modern fusion take on Korean street food with its dumplings often named as local favorites, while adjacent bar Quoin is often praised for its unique cocktails. Not far away from Revel is their second restaurant, Joule. Dubbed a modern Korean steakhouse, Joule is often jam-packed at dinner time and also offers a delicious weekend brunch with a rotating menu and breakfast bar. Yang and Chirchi’s latest restaurant project takes them into the heart of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The new eatery is called Trove, and it is chock full of surprises including a stunning and unique interior. Trove is a 3-in-one restaurant of sorts with a grill-it-yourself Korean BBQ restaurant in the back, a walk up stir fry noodle bar, and a parfait ice cream stand, featuring an ice cream truck built into the restaurant’s exterior! The menu at the noodle bar and parfait stand rotate seasonally.
