When Gogol Bordello comes to town, there’s no excuse to NOT see them. The gypsy punk rockers are touring in celebration of their sixth album,  Pura Vida Conspiracy, all in spite of a recent lawsuit brought forth against frontman Eugene Hütz by a former bandmate. No legal troubles or any negativity for that matter were evident in Gogol Bordello’s party of a performance at Seattle’s Neptune Theater last night. It was the first of two consecutive shows in Seattle, and Seattle fans turned out in droves. The band’s energy was explosive from the start, with Hütz leaping around the stage and dancing with the microphone stand from the opening song. The fans ate up the performance, dancing and singing along all night long. It’s was a concert photographer’s dream show to shoot (thank GOODNESS for the photo barricade!).
