They may have been in the spotlight 30+ years ago, but the jazz/funk cats of the 60s/70s band War prove that they can still play their hits. War played for 4 nights in a row at Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley, to the delight of a crowd that could sing along with most of their hits, including “The Cisco Kid” and “Lowrider.” It was a fun, funky event enjoyed by all.
